Are you having family friends to stay? Do you want a good night out without driving home? If you are looking for a way to make the most of your or your friend’s time in Cirencester, the Barrel Store could be the perfect solution. In the centre of town, the new hostel can host up to 43 people in one night. With prices from £24 per night, this offers a dynamic option for those who are passing through at short notice.

There’s plenty of scope to use the Barrel Store for group purposes too. Having a wedding or a business convention? There is no better place to locate yourselves ready for action the next day. With overnight parking in abundance, if you are leaving before 08:00 you may not have to pay for your vehicles keep. Just use the Old Station car park!
Get to work with this fold out desk.

It is an ideal location as a pit stop in a bike tour too. With secure pods to put the bikes away, you can rest assured you’ll be ready to see the Waterparks of South Cerney using your fat for fuel! It probably takes between 15-30 minutes for most people to cycle to South Cerney, and if you’re going in for a day of water sports, that isn’t too long.

I stayed in room 14. At £90 this room can host 3 people, with an en suite shower and toilet there was even a fold out desk. Power sockets were located in three parts of the room. The windows opened into New Brewery Arts alley way. It  was the only point I struggled with something at the Barrel Store. I can say honestly the most complicated thing about my stay at the Barrel Store was the child lock on the windows. Everything else was easy!

Store your bike safely!

Recommend this place to your visiting family and friends, and if you’re lucky you’ll be let into the community room. The decor and ergonomics of the design make for a very efficient stay!
